Abstract

Combining the skills of IT and OT within the industrial setting required a specialised approach. It is critical to ensure key skills are maintained and each group provides complementary expertise to the other.

The presentation will cover CLP’s approach to the required organisational structure including People, Process and Technology challenges.

As an internationally experienced Industrial Professional, I have been involved in all aspects of power generation. From design, through to construction and commissioning. From operations to asset management.

Presently I am engaged in Strengthening CLP’s (China Light and Power) Cyber Security, across both our IT and Operational Technology (OT) Fleet. I am responsible for the direction and implementation of Cyber Security across all aspects of the business globally.

Through strong leadership and team engagement, I am bringing together both IT and OT to complement and strengthen each other. I am driving change through collaboration and technical trust.

I am a recognized leader with the ability to drive direction and improvement, while understanding the detailed technical nature of our business.

I am working to shape cyber security improvements within the Power Industry.
